My name is Dayana Ngorsiolo. I am a 13 year old Maasai girl from Emurtoto, Tanzania. My mother has 8 children. My father has already found a fiancé for me, and will sell me if I don’t stay in school. I am so young to get married, and do not want to. I want to be a lawyer and help my people. Her mom takes care of the whole family by only selling fire woods because my father is old and has a lot of back pain, so he only stays home. He just wants me to get married so he can have more cows.
